Lead Pastor
Jim Goforth has been our lead pastor at New Life Community Church since its launch in 1997. Jim has a passion for communicating spiritual truths in a way everyone can easily understand and apply. He is happily married to his beautiful wife, Lori and the proud father of his two boys Josh and Nick.
Jim truly believes that what is happening at New Life Community Church is special and desires everyone to experience it.

NICK ROBINSON
Recovery Pastor
Nick leads New Life’s recovery ministry, Recovery Alive. He has a passion to see the healing power of Christ free people from the hurts and brokenness that life can bring. Nick together with his lovely wife Kim strive to bring salvation and healing to our whole community.

RYAN PARSONS
Pastor of Adult Development
Ryan’s heart is to see every New Lifer living out the full vision of our church. He has dedicated over 15 years to youth ministry. In early 2020, Ryan “passed the youth ministry torch” and has moved into his new role as Pastor of Adult Development. Ryan is a Jesus loving, disciple making, mountaineer! He loves being a dad, enjoys the outdoors, and boast's the best beard on staff (only seen during the winter months.)

Dan Dunn
Worship Pastor
Dan is responsible for the creative arts and production at New Life. He grew up, and studied music, here in the Eastern Panhandle. Dan has a passion to lead people in authentic worship, whether it be through music, prayer, or acts of service. He and his wife, Alexia, were recently joined by their first son, Elijah.

Kyle Hamlin
Pastor of Student Ministries
Pastor Kyle is tasked with the vision and direction of New Life’s student ministry called “Life Like Student Ministries” for students 6th-12th grade.
Pastor Kyle loves to use his farm, family, and hobbies to spend time building relationships with students and their families! He wants you to know he is always available to help you make a plan for your student’s growth.

SHANNON DUSING
Director of First Impressions
Shannon’s core goal is to ensure first-time guests feel welcomed and connected. In addition, she provides organizational support to Pastor Jim and helps to oversee church and community events. Shannon’s goal is for her love for Jesus to be a light for all who enter New Life Community Church.

Christy Taylor
Christy - Children's Director (1st through 5th grade)
Christy strives help children experience the love of Christ. She is a wife and mom of two boys and has lived in the Eastern Panhandle since 2004. Christy’s continuous prayer is that each child who visits New Life would learn that God loves them deeply and unconditionally.

Jackie Hartley
Administrative Assistant
Jackie is the Jack(ie) of all trades at New Life! She is the voice you hear when you call the church, and likely the first face you see when you come visit through the week. She is the master mind behind the Sunday message notes and graphics you see during each message, just to name a few.
