Celebrate Recovery

WHY CELEBRATE RECOVERY?

Celebrate Recovery is a place we call home and a group we call forever family. It is a place without judgment, a place to find loving support. A place with people who understand the hurts that life can bring, the habits that rob us of fullness of life and the hang-ups that keep us from being all we can be. It is a place for you to feel safe and know you are not alone. We open the door by sharing our experiences, strengths, and hopes with one another. In addition, we become willing to accept God’s grace in solving our lives’ problems. By working and apply Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually.

We become free from our addictive, compulsive, and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy, and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others.

As we progress through the program we discover our personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power— Jesus Christ.

Who is Celebrate Recovery for?
If you struggle with Anxiety, Depression or setting limits for yourself.
If fear, anger and bitterness are ruining your relationships.
If you use food, sex, alcohol or drugs to cope with life’s problems.
If you struggle with past trauma, abuse or low self esteem.
If any of these are true then Celebrate Recovery is for you!
We want you to know you are not alone and there is HOPE!

We meet Every Friday night for:
6pm to 7pm— BBQ Dinner/Connect Time (Optional)
7pm to 8pm— General Large Group Meeting
8pm to 9pm— Small Groups / Newcomers 101

General Meeting follows dinner where everyone meets together for worship,
teaching of one of the steps of recovery or testimony from someone who has been
through the steps.

Small Groups are facilitated by Celebrate Recovery Leaders who have been through
recovery themselves. Small groups are a safe place to open up about life struggles
and celebrate the victories God is giving us. All groups are issue specific and gender
based.

The Landing

The Landing...is a place where students (6-12th grade) can feel safe on Friday nights. We offer a  Christ-centered ministry aimed at helping students understand and deal with their hurts as well as accept and appreciate the immense love God has for them. The curriculum was created specifically for students who are dealing with issues that affect them most: a troubled family, friendships, feelings of acceptance or rejection, romantic relationships, pain, and addiction. All are issues that take a toll on today’s youth, and unless a healthy approach to cope is in place, disaster is sure to follow!

the Introduction…
The Landing’s structure is an ongoing 52 week program based on the beatitudes
from the Bible. Jesus laid out principles for happiness in the sermon on the mount. T
Students sometimes feel they need something more than a typical Sunday school
class or youth meeting, but they don’t know where to look or how to find it. The
Landing is a safe, healing place where students can learn to live a freer, healthier and more God-centered life.
